Generations Unite: Noteworthy Show Choir Brings Holiday Magic to Oak Park Seniors

Noteworthy, the award-winning show choir from Oak Park River Forest High School, performed for seniors and the community at the Oak Park Arms Senior Living, on Thursday, December 5.

The song and dance ensemble is comprised of 20 or more students who present show tunes and holiday favorites, all with choreography.

“Our residents were so happy to have the high schoolers join us for another year of holiday entertainment,” said Renee Steingard, director of resident engagement at the Oak Park Arms. “Noteworthy concerts are a very special way for the seniors in our community to start the holiday season.”

Now in its thirteenth year, Noteworthy is a selective group of singers, dancers, and live band members who perform for the Oak Park and River Forest community and Chicago throughout the fall and holiday season.

Oak Park Arms Senior Living is a rental retirement community that provides senior housing in the form of independent living. A licensed home care agency is onsite to provide support services for seniors. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month, or longer.
